Interested in a fun and positive endeavor for your child? At Bowstring Academy we are proud to offer a graded pre-college fundamental guitar curriculum designed to equip young musicians with an essential foundation for a lifetime of musical exploration.

Our teaching philosophy is strongly rooted in the classical guitar tradition, prioritizing the development of solid musical rudiments and technical fundamentals. Specialized courses of study are available for students interested in graded examinations and auditions. Students who have attained a basic proficiency in classical guitar fundamentals may elect to pursue additional courses of study including: applied music theory concepts, improvisation, jazz and popular music idioms, and electric guitar.
